This is an inspiring, uplifting book. I enjoyed it immensely. It caused me to step back from the ambition and hustle of life to ponder upon that which really matters - Jesus Christ and his great sacrifice for us. It is written in an ecumenical manner which I believe will appeal to a broad audience, drawing readers closer to God. I could feel the Spirit of the Lord as I read it, and I felt closer to Him. The world needs this book!

Excerpt : Chapter 1
"As we place our faith in the paradigm of Christ, we also appreciate the more profound reflections of Christ that God places along our paths, such as the image of those whom he transforms through his grace. While attending church one day, I saw this reflection in the face of a young single mother. As a result of tough circumstances, poor decisions, and some real mistakes, she had felt far from God. Speaking through an interpreter she testified of God's cleansing, redeeming power, concluding: Through Christ, I've come a long way in the last couple years, haven't I? Like the woman who washed Christ's feet with her tears, this young mother had come unto Christ, and Christ had healed her, so completely that she now radiated deep joy. This evidence of a transformed soul far transcended any physical evidence I had ever seen in my academic research projects. The transformation was too complete to occur through willpower alone. Christ was in the change."
